When I first started out, I didn’t know how or what to do, and bottomed as a way to discover what I wanted. There, I discovered that I had a high pain tolerance, which led to the label of ‘heavy bottom’…What did I know…

When I was the titleholder for SoCal Leather Woman, I discovered my voice, and within the year, people began to refer to me as being dominant….I wasn’t really comfortable with that label and it wasn’t until almost two years later that I felt comfortable being Dominant.

See, all of my life, my voice had been silenced…one way or another….fear, shame, guilt, and ignorance…I knew no other way to live until I began the journey of self-discovery…to understand my emerging dominance, a path unlike any other I’ve walked…and discovered what had been in hiding for over 40 years…

    That I AM dominant…

There have been bumps and curves…and I continue along on my journey…

    Dear Rane~

Thank you for sharing some of your process with us here. I can really relate to the “silencing of the voice” experience. And the finding it again. Bumps and curves indeed. Lifey! :)
